# Creating A Paste

Open the editor at [/paste](https://api.woojiee.lol/paste), type or paste your content, and press **Create Paste** (or `Ctrl/Cmd + Enter`).

## Options

| Option       | What it does                                                    |
| ------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Language** | Forces highlighting for a language, or *Auto* to let it detect. |
| **Expiry**   | When the paste is auto-deleted. *Never* keeps it forever.       |
| **Password** | Viewers must enter this to read the paste (optional).           |
| **Title**    | A friendly name shown on the view page and your dashboard.      |

## After creating

You're taken to the paste's page, which shows:

* The highlighted content with line numbers.
* **Copy**, **Raw**, **Link** buttons.
* A **Delete** button (asks for the delete key).

The **delete key** is stored in your browser so you can manage the paste later from the [dashboard](https://api.woojiee.lol/paste/client). Keep it safe — it's the only way to delete an anonymous paste.

## Limits

* Max size: **2 MB** per paste.
